Sainte-Radegonde, attributed · Two Pheasants

France · circa 1930 · Glazed ceramic

An imposing Art Deco group with two pheasants arranged across a sculptural landscape, combining a textured white glaze with a deep grey base.

One pheasant rises vertically while the other bends towards the ground. Their contrasting poses and the long sweeping tail create a balanced silhouette. The textured white glaze stands against a deep grey base, with black-painted eyes, beaks and claws.
